There are two courses at Ashton Court, Bristol

Short Course

Beginner friendly pay to play course.

The short course is located at the top of the park by the cafe.

To play this course, you need to go to the kiosk in the top car park. Disc hire is included in the price.

Long Course

A challenging course for more experienced players.

The more advanced course is located at the South end of the estate near the Church Lodge carpark. The first tee is at the gravel horseshoe shaped loop and the course generally follows the woodland along the southern boundary to the upper gatehouse then back around the north edge of the woods to return to the start

To play on the advanced course, we ask that you either buy a day pass, or an annual pass.

Ashton Court is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, noted for its rich collection of invertebrates – especially those that live on dead and decaying wood – some of which are nationally scarce. The area in which the advanced course is found has veteran oak trees and diverse vegetation which support invertebrates, as well as impressive flowerings of bluebells. Please be mindful of this as you enjoy the course and help protect the site.

There are also many other users of the estate. Please take care and wait for other people who are walking, jogging or cycling near where you play.
